Introduction: Duplicate Objects in Chocolate

About: Matthieu Libeert, Born 24th January 1990. Fascinated by Design, Prototyping, Composites, Digital Arts and Video editing.

In this 2-part video tutorial you can see how you can duplicate parts in chocolate using a mould.
this can be great to decorate cakes, make some halloween candy, or make a cute valentinegift for your girlfriend/boyfriend.
Any piece you find around the house on the street,... can be duplicated.
This is quite an easy thing to do, you just need to find some 2-part foodsafe silicone...should be easy to find after a quick search on the internet.

Step 1: Make the Mould

This is a video on how you can make silicone moulds, This video is quite extended.
YOU DONT NEED A VACUUMPUMP TO GET THE BUBBLES OUT. If you have one you can use it
but I should give you quite good results as well without a vacuumpump.
the release agent is only if you make silicone parts out of a silicone mould. so you dont need any releaseagent.
Silicone is selfreleasing to almost any material.

Step 2: Cast the Chocolate

The video should be quite clear,
just check the video...if I'm not clear at any step in the video, just ask in the comment section.

Step 3: Make Hollow Parts

As you can see in the Video I've made a chocolate part that is completely filled.
If you want some thinner pieces, hollow pieces. Just pour the chocolate in the mould and then
pour the exces chocolate out of the mould back into the cup.

Hope you liked it!
