I'm sure you've all seen the other bicycle stereo instructables, but I think that simpler is better. No rivets, no fancy homemade soundpad speakers, just good old fashioned 6x9's and duct tape.

You need whatever you can get for this - keep it ghetto. I would recommend polypropylene 6x9's, unless you like warped, crappy sounding speakers. You need 6x9 boxes to go with these, I got mine for a dollar at a garage sale, so mine have already been heavily used. I got the speakers from my dad's car when he upgraded to a pair of alpines. He even gave me the grills. You need zip ties, lots of duct tape, a 5 foot minimum 1/8 male to male headphone cable, the T- amp, batteries. You can use lanterns to run the T-amp, see my other instructable for instructions on how to make a plywood case like mine. You need nylon rope, a lighter, soldering gun/iron+solder, and my secret weapon, the rechargeable battery charger you can get from walmart, it's an off brand charger, real cheap, but the charger is not what you want, it's the car adapter that comes with it. It fits the T-amp perfectly... The one you want is silver with a blue clear downward swinging door. It comes with green and blue rechargeable batteries. Oh, and a bike with a water bottle holder is required.

it's blurry because once i increased the contrast and light levels, there was so much digital noise that the photo looked almost like a checkerboard so i added noise reduction to it too using a photo editor.
a good camera with better lighting (outdoors on a sunny day) would help you show your ride off better. no matter what kind of digital camera you use though, adequate light will help tame digital noise a lot.
my original system is DIY, but not really a build so i haven't posted it here but i WILL post a DIY on my trailer when i get it up and running next summer. stop by my street party bikes website AND take a look at a bunch of other systems.
i'll add this one to the site if you fix your photo so it can actually be seen clearly. taking a few more pics with a better camera though wouldbe even better.
