This picture might be easier to see if it had a black background. Some people can't see the green on white.. Just a point of advice.

acquiring one of these is hard, but if u look on divineo.com there is a cable designed for xbox to computer screens, why bother risking your xboxes cables?

This is a work in progress at the moment. The PCB design is finished and I will print and etch the PCB when I have all the parts. I'm currently waiting for the LM1881, and will get it 02/01/2007 (I hope!)
So are you using the YPbPr output of the xbox and splitting the sync from the Y? I didn't know you could do that. I'm going to have to try this sometime.

I guess this died ... whatever happened to this project. I would very much like to find a way to connect an XBOX to a widescreen LCD.

This certain circuit is actually very troublesome. You may also use Intersil and their EL1881 chips, but I prefer the EL4583 (always PDIP for ease). Thweir samples come via 2nd day fedex and are COMPLETELY free of charge, to all that apply! I would like help, though. I am doing it for my PS2, and am having NO luck. do I have to use 480p games??? I get vsync @ 60 Hz and Hsync at 16.2 kHz! This is really a bummer, as I must play Xenosaga III on my 21" Viewsonic P810... MSN iggyluver@hotmail.com, I do use messenger.

Well, it doesn't look all that complicated. Looks like you could make your own traces with copperplated board or um, some wire and a chip? Anyhoo . . . This is an interesting subject to me because I'd like to have one display for my DVD player, VCR and computer. This has got me thinking I might be able to make one myself.
