Let me get this straight - this artist in Sheffield has had a good idea for a big patchwork quilt, but she wants other people to pay for the materials and do the actual work? Actually, that's not bad - it will be quite a spectacular piece, and it guarantees at least 256 people will come to the exhibit!

I understand this, chances are if you have a look around you will have a piece of old fabric that matches one of the colours. Most of the materials you will have already suhc as the paper and the compass, as for the others... you can get them pretty cheaply at any sewing store etc... Thanks for your intrest Kurt
