This is a tutorial of ESP32. In this tutorial of Robo India is explaining. How to communicate the serial monitor through Mobile bluetooth.

Step 1: Introduction

Picture of Introduction

ESP32 is a series of low cost, low power system on a chip microcontroller with integrated Wi-Fi & dual-mode Bluetooth. It is designed to achieve the best power and RF performance, robustness, versatility, and reliability in a wide variety of applications such as voice encoding, music streaming and MP3 decoding

ESP32 integrates Bluetooth link controller and Bluetooth baseband, which carry out the baseband protocols and other low-level link routines, such as modulation/demodulation, packets processing, bit stream processing, frequency hopping, etc

Users can buy this device online from Robo India Shop: https://roboindia.com/store/esp32-bluetooth-wifi

Step 2: Prerequisites

You can use this tutorial https://www.instructables.com/id/ESP-32-Introduction/.In this tutorial the Robo India explaining how to install the esp32 in Ardunio IDE.

Step 3: How to Connect the ESP32 With Mobile Bluetooth

  1. Open Arduino IDE >Go to tools > Board ESP32 Dev Module and Select port.
  2. Than unzip this file.Compile and upload the code in Arduino IDE
  3. Open the serial monitor and select the right braud which you mention in your code.
  4. Than open your bluetooth in mobile phone. Connect and pair the ESP32 devices.

So, forgive me if for not understanding, but, what should I expect on the mobile phone? My ESP32 device does show up with the name "Hello World" (which if I change in the code also then I see the new name on the phone as an available device). If I try to pair, it says "Pairing..." on the phone, then nothing. It is still listed under "Available devices" not under "Paired Devices." Also, if it did pair, it's not clear to me what happens then. Can I type text into the Arduino serial monitor program and see it somehow on the phone?
