Water bottle cap rocket

This is an extremely easy trick to do with many kinds of water bottles. I did this is fifth grade only to recieve a five paragraph essay assignment from my teacher on pneumatic pressure. All this is in principle is a pneumatic cannon on an extremely small and crude scale. So have fun scaring old people or the driver of the vehicle you happen to be in.

Step 1 Material

That's not a typo either. You only need one empty water bottle for this experiment. Unfortunately, ones such as Dasani are extremely hard to do this. The water bottle should be sectioned in rings around the bottle.

guys, when you have it twisted hold it with your left hand toward the bottom. Then, at the top, hold with your right hand and place your thumb firmly on the cap. have it unscrewed a little bit already when you start. then, with your thumb firmly against it, twist quickly to the right.

its fine, i used pics from NASA for my homemade rocket/missile, and its real easy, its on the bottom of the page when ur making an instructable

ive know this forever we do it on the bus, you do it right on em and they get a welt my freind did it to my nipple it stung so bad, also with about a half hour you can get the dasini ones to work but they dont go to far
