This step can be a little tricky depending on your wheel.

- place the 3rd spacer between the device and the spoke, line it up to whichever mounting slots fit.

- hold the spacer and the device against the spoke by hand, and flip the wheel over. check that the spoke is only touching the rubber. If it is touching somewhere else also, stack a second rubber spacer on top of the first.

- also check that the spoke is not blocking the velcro battery strap from opening. if it is, choose one of the following:
- slide the device in or out on the wheel until the spoke does not block the velcro
- cut the end of the velcro shorter so it doesn't go on the bottom side
- stack a 2nd rubber spacer like above, so the spoke is further away
