the global warming thing is bieng hyped and milked out of all proportion by the big companies to a make profit.Dont get me wrong im all for living in a beautiful enviro friendly world (cut a tree down plant another) its that easy. But im really sick of huge corporate bio propaganda.

If they really were so concerned about the enviroment they would be encouraging you not to buy there motor cars and other tons of massed produced rubbish that they pump out everyday, but there not are they?there just trying to get you to get rid of the one youve already got so they can make a buck by selling you the replacement.

I'm very happy that Instructables has an earth week event. Although I'm only 13, I do believe in helping the earth, and I try my best not to pollute. I ride my bike to and from school 6 miles a day, I always recycle, and I'm the treasurer for my school's "Green Team." Also, I talked to UCI about bringing one of their hydrogen cars to our school, but it turns out that we have to go there. So, I schedule a field trip for my school to go to UCI. :]

Politics, religion, global warming, whatever. It's all just arguing. You really want to help the environment, you do it for yourself.

Fact is, if you avoid the profiteers, most environmentally friendly acts save money, even if only in the long run.

I drive a hybrid and use solar panels because they are cheaper yet equally effective alternatives for my needs. I grow trees because I personally enjoy looking at them and chilling in the shade. I reuse cans and bottles for things like mini greenhouses because they are cheap and effective and are great controlled environments for experiments.

At some point I won't be here anymore, but I would prefer those who come after me didn't have to clean up my mistakes. Using the strategies of the environmentalists clears my conscience.

I do it for me. Nobody should be thanked for thinking about the environment, they should be smacked for wasting their personal resources instead of squeezing out an ounce of ingenuity to get the job done with what they have.

I had a dream about your first sentence. A large debate was going on, on a large ice cap. If some-one talked, the block of solid water would sink abit.
