Warning: Lots of sugar.
Step 1: Supplies
- Rice Krispie Mix - Rice Krispies + Marshmallows + Butter
- Marshmallow Fondant - Marshmallows + bit of water + Powdered Sugar + Food Coloring
- Corn Syrup
Step 2: Preparing
I don't want to be a broken record, I've talked about Marshmallow fondant before. Here is how much I ended up making.
- 2oz white
- 2oz pink
- 2oz blue
- 2oz yellow
- 4 oz green
Make your krispie mix and transfer it to a plastic container.
Grab your clean plastic Easter egg. I jammed it full of treat mix and then really smushed it closed. You want to hear the krispies crunching cause you want the egg to stay together. I smashed it closed and brushed off any krispies that weren't inside the egg, then I laid it on a piece of wax paper to harden a bit.
You can detach the top and bottom of the egg from each other. I left them together and they eventually broke apart anyway.
