Picture of Easy 10-15 Min. Cornbeef and Cabbage With Biscuts

When I was growing up my mother would make this for dinner every now and then.
I think she mainly made this because it was quick and easy, and cheap.
Now I'm divorced living by my self, Ive started cooking many of the things I grew up with and putting my own twist on them.
My mother would cut up a head of cabbage, cook it in a skillet with some water, then add a can of corn beef when the cabbage was almost done and that was all there was to it.
I have found a easy, faster and taster way to make, so here it is.

Step 1: Supplies

Picture of Supplies
  • pot/skillet
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • 1 large onion
  • a bag of coleslaw mix
  • a can of chicken broth
  • a can of corn beef
  • salt and pepper
  • something to stir with
  • a can of biscuits
  • baking sheet
  • oven mit

Step 2: Biscuts

Picture of Biscuts

You need to start baking the biscuits first so that they will be ready when every thing  else is.
First read the directions on the side of the biscuits so you can find out what temperature to set the oven and how long to bake them.
Set oven to the temperature it asks for.
Get the baking sheet, open up the can of biscuits and place on baking sheet.
Put biscuits in the oven and bake.

Step 3: Making Corn Beef and Cabbage

Picture of Making Corn Beef and Cabbage

Place pot on stove, open the can of chicken broth and pour into the pot.
Turn on the burner to medium, then dice the onion and place in pot.
Open corn beef and place in pot
Now if you want you can add salt and pepper if you want, but you might want to wait till near the end of cooking, as the the corn beef and broth many times already has a lot of salt all ready.
Stir.

Step 4: Cooking
