Step 2: Installing

Okay, if you've got the file on your desktop, the command to run it would look somewhat like this.
 sudo sh home/michael/Desktop/ati-driver-installer-9-11-x86.x86_64.run

Of course, you've got to change the user name there, and probably the .run file name, but it should work pretty good.

why can't open ati-driver-installer-9-11-x86.x86_64.run,whereas my file ati-driver-installer-9-11-x86.x86_64.run locate to Desktop?

cause its failed, and then i typed :
cd Desktop/
~ Desktop$ sh ./ati-driver-installer-9-11-x86.x86_64.run
when they created fglrx directory....suddenly directory fglrx deleted...
how it could be happen...i'm confused
