A fast way to add "Stars" to your ceiling, well at least a part of the ceiling.

For this project we will be using "Chibitronics".
We need:

 • LEDs (I used around 24)
 • Effects Add-On sticker (I used Twinkle and Fade Stickers)
 • Copper tape (I used 2)
 • 3v Power Source (old charger)

Step 1:

Stick as many LED stickers as you want on the ceiling.

Stick Effect stickers on the ceiling.

Start making a way from the 3v power source (battery, charger) to LEDs and Effect stickers.

Connect the negative "-" terminal of the power source to all LEDs and Effect stickers.

Connect the positive "+" terminal of the power source directly to LEDs or via Effect stickers.

If your LEDs are connected via Effect stickers, they will light up with an effect. In my case - twinkle or fade.

So at the end I had 3 types of "stars". Ones that shine, twinkle and fade.

Connect everything to the 3v power source and enjoy the show.

Neat idea. I added this to my collection"Stars".

that's pretty cool. . I might try it some day and layout a constellation, the copper tape would make a great outline of the constellation when the room lights are on, and a cool star representation when the room lights are out!

Thanks

That copper tape is very useful for many things.

Outline for constellation is a great idea. I never thought about it.

Cheers
