I like quiche (egg pie), and since I have been blowing a lot of eggs, out of their shells, for other projects, I have a lot of eggs ...
Supplies: 1 deep dish pie shell- uncooked (buy or make your own) 1 cup half and half (half milk and half cream) 4 eggs, mixed lightly 5 oz. ...
Pre heat the oven to 400°. Spread the flour all over the bottom of the pie crust. It keeps the bottom crust from becoming soggy while cooking.
Mix the cheeses, bacon and onions together,
and place them in the bottom of the pie crust.
With a whisk (or a fork), beat the eggs and half & half together
and pour over the cheeses, etc. in the pie crust. Place in the oven and bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
Turn the Heat down to 350°, and continue baking for an additional 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool a little before serving.
Yum! Honey, dinner is served! Enjoy!
