BEAUTIFUL!!! This is just the thing I've been looking for. I found a guy who teaches a workshop on texturing bottles, but he hasn't done a tutorial in a couple of years, *and* he charges around $160 for it. YIKES!

Thank you so very much for this tutorial. I'm going to get right on it!

Really impressive work. Can you give more info on the faces and other evocative elements? Did you buy them, or make them?

kanshank (author)bookmatch2015-07-08

Thank u so much,, for faces etc u can use clay or plaster of paris dough,, make medium- small round balls and then flatten them by pressing between both your palms,, then take silicone moulds and press them well in the inside portion of it,, unmould them and keep it to dry,, they are ready to use. Alternatively u can get these design impressions from stamps etc,, You can prepared them ahead of time and can use wherever you like.

1 small tip.. as u mould these designs,, for bigger designs like heart, faces etc,, u can give a little curved shapes by ur hands to few pieces(while the clay is still wet) so it would be easy to use in small bottles or any convex surface(so the corners wont pop out) and it would be easy to use.
