Easy DeadMau5 Helmet! under 50$!

all the pics i had of making the helmet got deleted so ill try my best to explain what i did.

total coast: 50$


for those of you with money i suggest finding a better tut.
this is meant for those who are unfortunate enough to not go over 40$



!?!?!?!?!?!?!   BY THE WAY I JUST BOUGHT SOMETHING CALLED THE "X-STICK"  IT TUNES ANYTHING IT STICKS ONTO, INTO A SPEAKER, SO IF YOU GET THIS (30$) YOU CAN CONNECT IT TO YOU IPOD AND STICK IT TO THE LIP OF YOUR DEADMOU5 HELMET AND PLAY MUSIC WHERE EVERY YOU GO!?!?!?!?!?

Step 1: Materials

5$ -16" Kids Play Ball (pic below) ***DO NOT USE A BEACH BALL, THEY ARE TOO THIN AND WEAK AND IT WILL MORPH****
0$ - News Paper (LOTS)
4$ - Flour/Glue (papermache)
0$ - foam (i got mine from my dads work, but if you want get it for free then just buy it, form hobby lobby or home depo.)
5-15$ - spray paint
5$ - PushLights (i found mine at Salvation Army, you can probably get them in a yard sale or any home supply store/walmart)
0$ - Nuts&Bolts (again, got mine from my dads work, get them from a junk yard or just buy them.)
0$ - Cardboard (use pizza boxes, i went behind McDonald and took the boxes they had in the bin.)
3$ - Hard Helmet (Salvation Army, they usually get a few)

and of course the most expensive.
30$ - Fiberglass
30$ - Bondo (optional)

its cool my brother makes deadmau5 helmets for fun and gives them to me i have a cool bro!!! :)

wait a minute, whats the "rod" things those arent in the checklist and it doesnt explain how to use them, help please?

oh yea sorry about that, its just optional, their to add more support to the ears but they arnt needed depending on what you use.

just a question, what was the hard helmet used for :s??

you put it on the inside of the fiberglass sphere so you can wear the head like a helmet. plus its adjustable.
