French Toast Recipe:

1 egg

2 pieces of thick sliced bread (whatever bread you like)

2 Tbsp of Milk

1/4 tsp of vanilla extract

Butter

Tools Needed:

Skillet

Spatula

Fork

Bowl

Shallow bowl/pie pan

Step 1: Combine Ingredients

First let's combine our egg, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Then using a fork or whisk we will mix them together really well.

Step 2: Dip the Bread

Now we take the batter and place it in a shallow bowl or pan. I like to use a pie tin. Shallow tupperware container works great as well. Then you dip your bread slices, making sure to cover both sides, and draining the excess back into the pan/bowl.

Step 3: Cook Them

Now we turn our stovetop on to medium to medium high heat. Then take a bit of butter once the skillet is hot, and coat the pan with it. Next, lay your batter soaked bread on the pan.

Step 4: Continue Cooking

Let them cook for about 1.5 minutes on each side, until they look nice and golden brown. Then take your same butter and while the top is still hot, put butter on the top of the french toast.

Step 5: Toppings

Now you just add whatever toppings you like!

Note: One egg makes about 2 french toast, so double, triple, quadruple the recipe as needed.

Now enjoy your French Toast!
