Introduction: Easy Fruit Dip

About: I love basically any kind of craft, especially if it's jewelry making. I also LOVE baking, and just food in general. My main hobbies consist mostly of: Polymer clay, Rainbow loom, Duct tape, and baking or maki…

This idea is a great after school snack and super easy! I originally got this idea from foodnetwork.com's "50 After-School Snacks" but I decided to change up a couple things. Hope you enjoy!

Step 1: Materials

Things you will need are... Tools: 1 tablespoon, 1/4 cup, bowl, skewer (optional), and a knife for cutting fruit. Ingredients: plain yogurt, sour cream, lime juice, brown sugar, any kind of fruit flavoring (I used a cherry-pomegranate water flavoring), and any fruits or other things to dip in that you choose.

Step 2: Yogurt and Sour Cream

So the first step in making this dip is adding the what I call "base ingredients." So basically what you need to do is take a 1/4 cup of sour cream and dump it into the bowl. Then take a 1/4 cup of your plain yogurt and add that too. You can stir it too if you want to.

Step 3: Flavorings

Next we need to add the flavor to the "base". Simply pour 1 tablespoon of lime juice into the bowl along with a tablespoon of brown sugar. We also need to add some kind of fruit flavoring. You can use any type you like but remember that you shouldn't add the amount that I'm adding if your using something different. I used some cherry-pomegranate water flavoring in mine which worked very well. I only added a squirt.

Step 4: Stir

Exactly what the title says. Stir it all up!

Step 5: Fruit

Wash your desired fruit. Now cut it up into pieces as big as you like. I wouldn't recommend cutting them too big though. Get them ready for the next step.

Step 6: Adding the Fruit

Now simply stab your desired amount of fruit (or other) onto your skewer. That's pretty much all you need to do this step.

Step 7: Enjoy!!!

Now enjoy your great-tasting fruit dip! Feel free to change up the recipe and add different flavorings if you like. If you enjoyed the instructable and if you enjoyed the fruit dip too, please favorite and follow me!
