Word of warning... If you get the R4 make sure you are ready to search for a ton of files on the internet. I am a huge fan of R4 but it is hard to get the files. Also the R4 sometimes doesn't work. You just have to take it in and out of the DS until it works. Great Instructable!!!!

I feel your pain, killer_fan. I have always wanted to use a DS program called DSMIDIWiFi. From what I've already seen, it looks pretty cool. You can use it to make music with your computer, and wirelessly. No MIDI keyboard needed, and no USB MIDI interfacing.

sorry i commented on that so late. as it looks i'm not going ot get a R4. i am going ot get a "acekard 2" as it has better homebrew support and some better features. and a 2 GB SD card should be fine since most games take up around 11-30 MB (some games that are long/heavily text based like Zelda, take up more MB , and round 60. at most they take up around 100 MB but that is only like 2 out of all the DS games there is)
