This laptop stand is designed for a 15.4” laptop and my particular body but should be flexible for most situations. Adjust dimensions as necessary.

20” x 8” ½” particle board scrap
4 #8-32 x 1 ½” bolts
4 #8-32 bolts
2 sheet metal screws
16” double stick Velcro
