Easy Money Wallet

This is a duct tape wallet with a built in calculator. I built it for my younger cousin as a Christmas present. I thought that it would be a useful present because as a younger kid I hated doing math to find out how much something costed with tax. Also I knew he would think that it looked cool.

If you have any suggestions or any errors to correct please comment so I can fix it.

Step 1: The Materials

I made this entire project with materials laying around my house, and even if you don't have one of these things, they are pretty cheap to buy, probably totaling under $10.

Materials List

Duct tape (I used gray. Get creative! Use whatever, however many colors you feel like)

Scissors

Standard sized card

A straight edge (I used a note card, a ruler probably would have worked better)

Pencil

Marker

Construction Paper

Calculator (Small and skinny preferably)

Cash to fill it!

I love the calculator idea as well. The only thing I would have done is to use an exacto knife to cut the excess from around the buttons to give it a more polished look (I know-polished and duct tape in the same sentence).

I made a duct tape wallet before looking at this site and i put a built in a fold out stride gum container thing in it.

that would actually be a great idea to add a duct tape version of a stride gum case into a wallet, just so you an buy a pack of stride or similar gum and fill it up with those.

yeah, duct tape may not be the greatest look, but its cheap! :). and its sort of a homemade wallet standard I guess.

Great Great wallet ive made like 10 all different trying to make the perfect one the calculator is what im going to put in my next one have you thought about putting one of the magic wallet ones in the center?

I think it was an amazing idea to put the calculator. I never would of thought of that
