Introduction: Easy Oreo-Baileys Parfait
Delicious, easy, no bake dessert to enjoy for chocolate lovers!
Step 1: Ingredients and Cooking Tools
15 Oreo Cookies
½ cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
½ cup of milk
2 cups of heavy whipping cream *Chilled
⅓ cup of Baileys *Chilled
¼ cup of powdered sugar
Kitchen Aid or Mixer
Rolling pin or meat tenderizer
Step 2: Oreos
Place the 15 Oreos in a gallon size Ziplock bag and begin to crush the Oreos into small pieces with your rolling pin.
Step 3: Chocolate Syrup
Place milk on stove on medium heat until the milk begins to steam, remove it from the heat and add in semi sweet chocolate chips. Let them sit for 2 minutes to melt. Then, begin to stir until all the chocolate has melted. Set off to the side to cool. Mixture should look similar to a chocolate milk consistency.
Step 4: Baileys Cream
Using a stand or hand mixer combine the chilled heavy whipping cream, chilled Baileys, and powdered sugar. Mix for 5-7 minutes or until the liquid turns into a fluffy white consistency.
Step 5: Split Cream in Half
Take your whipped cream mixture and divide it into half. Place the first half off to the side. Take your second half and add your chocolate milk mixture and mix together.
Step 6: Assemble and Enjoy!
Now it is time to assemble your parfaits. For your first layer take your plain whipped topping and add an inch it to the bottom of the dish. Next, add the crushed Oreos for the second layer. Then, add the chocolate whipped cream for the next layers. Continue until your parfait dish is completely full with layers add a sprinkle of Oreo on top.
Place the dessert in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving for best results. Enjoy!
