Introduction: Easy Paracord Bracelet - Advanced Cobra

That bracelet is very easy to make but is clearly an eye-catcher!

Instead of the thin cord you can use normal Paracord as well!

Difficulty: easy

Material-usage: less

Step 1: Step 1: Material

For a normal cobra-bracelet I use about 8 feet of black Paracord. Maybe you should use more 'cause my wrist is very thin.

The thin Paracord is type I, which is about 2mm thin. I used a bit more than 2 feet of it.

The buckle is a 5/8" one, but smaller ones are possible as well.

In the end you're going to use something like a hook.

Step 2: Step 2: Cobra-Knot

The basic knot you use for this bracelet is the cobra-knot. For this you put the right cord under the inner cords (the middle ones) to the left. After that you put the left cord under(!) the first one, over the inner cords and through the loop on the right side.

ATTENTION! This is the first knot. So when you pull it tight control the length of the bracelet! It may have changed.

Step 3: Step 3: the Thin Cord

Now it's time to add the thin Paracord. Just put it with one end through the right loop.

When pulling the cobra knot thigh be careful not to pull it out again!

To make the second knot you make a loop around the black cord like in picture 3. After that you basically ignore the red cord and make a cobra-knot with the black cords (this time you take the left cord first and put it under the inner cords).

Step 4: Step 4: Go on and On...

just repeat the knot 'til the end

Step 5: Step 5: the End

Now, that you're nearly finished you take your hook and press the thin cord through the inner cords. End with a cobra-knot, cut the cords, burn them and you're done.

Step 6: Step 6: DONE!

Congrats!

You can use normal cord as well! Looks awesome.
