Introduction: Easy-Peasy CD Sleevesey

About: I'm a professional video game programmer.

Make a double CD/DVD sleeve from an ordinary sheet of paper. No cutting required!

Step 1: Materials

Get a blank sheet of letter sized (regular) paper (other sizes like A4 may work).
I used some scrap paper from my printer.

Also, get a CD or DVD.

Step 2: Place the CD

Place the CD/DVD in the center of the paper, and about 2/3rds of the way up.
(After a few tries, you'll be able to judge the right spot more easily).

Step 3: Fold # 1

Using the CD/DVD as a guide, fold the bottom of the paper over the CD as shown.
You can make a loose fold then remove the CD to make a better fold.
Make sure this fold is straight!

Note: The more accurate and firm your folds are, the better this will work.

Step 4: Fold # 2

Now fold one of the sides behind as shown. Again, use the CD/DVD as a guide of where to fold and make the fold straight.

Note: The more accurate and firm your folds are, the better this will work.

Step 5: Fold # 3

Repeat this process for the other side, and it should look like this.

Note: The more accurate and firm your folds are, the better this will work.

Step 6: "The Tuck"

Turn the sleeve over and grab the two folds you just made, then tuck one inside the other as shown.

Step 7: Position Is Strength

This sleeve holds 2 CD/DVDs, but if you are using just one, place it in the side with the tuck to prevent the sleeve from coming undone.

Congratulations! You've recycled some scrap paper into something useful.

The next step shows a variation of the sleeve.
