Introduction: Easy Peasy Vege Fritters

About: I'm a career woman and a mom for 2 boys. Now we are creating our edible garden and try to avoid outside food. So we will plant our own vegetables and cook the nice food :)

This is my family's favorite especially my 5 year old son. He will ask for this fritter as snack and it is easy to make.

Step 1: Simple Ingredient That You Need

What you need: 1. Flour 2. Vege of your choice 3. 1 free range egg 4. Warm water 5. Salt, black pepper for seasoning I like cabbage, carrot, yellow onion and potato for my vege fritters. You can add bean sprouts, bell pepper, spring onion or any vege you like. You can add red chillies if you like it spicy.

Step 2: Prepare the Mixture

1. Cut the vege into strips 2. Add egg and seasoning 3. Add the flour and mix gradually until the flour coatted the vege lightly. 4. Then add warm water. Mix. The mixture is not too thick nor light.

Step 3: Fry Your Fritters and Ready to Eat

It is nice to eat them as it is or with chillie sauce

    Trying to lose a bit of weight--- BUT I DO treat myself over weekends to something 'naughty' and this is my next treat. Knowing myself--- I'll scoff the lot !!!!!!! Think I'll experiment with this mixture a bit, so I can make it 'legal' for other times. Will try to 'fry' them with a non stick cooking spray and cover with the wonder cooker lid. Wish me luck folks !!!

    The oil in which you use to cook has a great deal to do with weightloss. According to Dr. OZ, coconut, rice bran and safflower oils actually help! I'm thinking that frying hot so that the mix doesn't soak for a long time and draining well would make this okay for all times....

    That looks so unhealthy, yet so tasty. I'm from the South, and I miss having these at the local fish fry with cheese grits.
