Introduction: Easy Pork Ribs

Today we are going to prepare some juicy pork ribs, using both oven and pot.

Step 1: Ingredients & Tools

Gather all needed ingredients:

  • Pork ribs (12-15)
  • Water (3 Liters)
  • Hambone
  • Carrot (100gr)
  • Celery (35gr)
  • Onion (150gr)
  • Leek (50gr)
  • Olive oil (30gr and 80gr)
  • Soy sauce (60gr)
  • Parsley (6gr)
  • Lemon juice (30gr)
  • Cider Vinegar (20gr)
  • Garlic (5)
  • Honey (25gr)
  • Salt (10 gr) ( ONLYadd salt to the water if your soy sauce isn't very salty)

Tools Needed:

  • Cooking pot
  • Oven plate
  • Whisk
  • Strainer
  • Silicone Brush
  • Blender

Step 2:

Fill the cooking pot with 3 Liters of water, mid-heat. Then add onion cutted in 4 pieces, carrot cutted in 3, cellery, leek and hambone. (Add salt if your soy sauce isn't salty enough).

Step 3:

As the water starts boiling, it's time to add pork ribs. Wait until water boils again if needed. Put the top of the cooking pot on with a little opening, as seen on picture. Now reduce the heat until it boils slowly and let it cook for 65/70 minutes.

Step 4:

Take out the ribs and let them rest on a strainer, covered with aluminum foil, for about 20/30 minutes. This will help ribs to keep inner fluids. ( this is not optional, do it)

Step 5:

Preheated oven at 210º C

Step 6:

While ribs rest, add olive oil (30gr) to a bowl. Start mixing with the whisk while you add soy sauce slow and gently. Repeat same process adding the honey.

Step 7:

Take the ribs, cut them individualy, put them on the oven plate. Smash 5 garlics and distribute on the plate. Use silicone brush to spread the oil/soy/honey sauce over and under ribs. Only use 1/3 of the sauce. Plate to the oven at 210º C for 18 minutes. ( grill mode on if possible)

Step 8:

At minute 5, take out the plate, spread more sauce with the brush and put the plate inside oven again. Repeat at minute 10 with the rest of sauce.

Step 9:

On another bowl add Olive oil (80gr), fresh crushed parsley, lemon juice, vinegar cider and the roasted garlics from the oven plate (peeled). Use blender until sauce gets smooth and thick. Add some ribs juice to it and blend.

Step 10:

Spread the parsley sauce over ribs and stir everything.

Step 11: THE END, EAT IT

THE END, EAT IT
