An old trick of eating chunks of pineapple covered in honey before you have a cigarette, has been tried and tested by my own mother to reduce the strong cravings and even sway you away from having a cigarette at all, plus it is a delicious and healthy snack alternative to the nasty nicotine patches or gum. My Mum had been smoking for a few years before she decided that she wanted to give up the fatal habit, but as all smokers know it's just not that easy! The new research and findings have found that cigarettes are just like lighting the fire to burn away your fruitful life. So she decided to give it a try and now she has gone 12 months cigarette free and she is feeling healthier than ever and she still thanks me for my yummy snack that put her on the right track.
