Spray toasted sandwich maker with oil, place several layers of filo pastry over sandwich maker.
Place pie filling in the middle, as if you were making a toasted sandwich.
Place more filo pastry over the top of pie filling.
Close toasted sandwich maker.
Trim off excess pastry from around sides of sandwich maker.
Cook until pasty is browned and crispy.
You could also use a jaffle iron and cook this in a camp fire.
Serve with tofu cream, soy yoghurt, cream or ice cream.
