Edible Earth

Introduction: Edible Earth

My family loved this recipe. It is also a good way to learn about the earth.

Step 1: Ingredients and Tools

First step is to get your things together.

13 marshmallows
1 spice drop gum drop or dot
1 table spoon of butter
2 cups of Rice Krispies
1 bottle of chocolate shell sauce (the kind that hardens on ice cream)
Large microwaveable bowl
Serrated knife

Step 2: Hole

Use a knife to poke a hole in a marshmallow.

Step 3: Center

Put spice drop in hole of marshmallow and cover up.

Step 4: Marshmallow HOT

Put butter and other 12 marshmallows in fowl and microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir with spatula and microwave for 1 more minute.

Step 5: Rice Krispy Time

Stir in cereal and cool for 1 minute.

Step 6: Mantel

Wet hand with water. Roll cereal mixture into ball around marshmallow.

Step 7: FREEZE

Put edible earth in freezer an freeze for 15 minutes.

Step 8: Crust

Take out and pour chocolate sauce over whole ball. Make sure that the chocolate covers the whole thing. Put ball in freezer till chocolate hardens.

Step 9: Cut

Use knife to cut in half. Talk about the different parts of the earth if you want to. Spice drop is the inner core. Marshmallow is the outer core. Rice Krispy is mantel. And the chocolate covering is the crust. The crust is 40 miles deep.

Step 10: All Done

I hope that it will taste good!! ENJOY!!
