Easy to make CHOCOLATE BRAN MUFFINS, 200 calories each. Vegetarian style, as they contain no animal products!

Emi's CHOCOLATE BRAN MUFFINS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Farenheit
In a large bowl, mix:
1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
1 ½ cups bran
¾ cup brown sugar, lightly packed
2 heaping tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda (NOT baking powder)
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cup water
4 Tablespoons canola oil
1 Tablespoon vinegar
Optional: Add ½ cup raisins
Grease muffin tins or line with paper liners
Fill ¾ full.
Optional: sprinkle the tops with coconut or brown sugar
Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Yields 12 muffins at 200 calories each.
