I always have a few nut bars with me. They are excellent as fuel after a long day or after workouts. All ingredients are natural, no additives that aren't common in nature.

Step 1: Ingredients

Ingredients:
50 dates
350 grams of almonds
100 grams of hazelnuts
125 grams of unsweetened shredded coconut
2 eggs
25 grams of unsweetened cocoa, powdered

ohh man!!! I love dates. I use to pack them as snack on every biking trip in the mountain. It has lots of vitamins and minerals. Dates fruits are nutritritious. I eat them as a substitute for energy bars.

I like it but I'd rather do pemmican. Way cheaper and a pound of meat will make enough pemmican that you can survive off it alone for 2 months. Specially if you have bread to fill your stomach up with the pemmican.
I love dates, they are so great for you - just a bit high in calories per fruit. Be careful though, add honey to this mix and you easily call these aphrodisiac bars! Maybe them looking like human excrement is important to counter this effect.
