This would make a better instructable, and more accessible to many people, if you had actual text with each step, not just graphics.

It's more than just explaining (although that would be very useful). Your graphics cannot be used by people with low vision or who are blind -- they cannot be read by a screen reader, and users cannot set them to be high contrast (black on white) or enlarge the font. They also cannot be processed by online translation software to be available to non-English readers.
