Introduction: Extreme Superfood Fruit Smoothie
There's been a big craze around superfoods lately. They are awesome to give you energy and are an excellent healthy alternative to the fast foods we are starting to be so accustomed to. However, while being great for you, nobody wants to eat them all the time. That's why I made this Instructable! It will tell you how to combine all your superfood needs into one delicious smoothie so that you will be guilt free with that little taste of fatty comfort food.
Step 1: Gather All the Superfoods You Have
Look around your pantry, fridge and freezer to find all the Superfoods you can!
Superfoods can include any of the following:
• Nuts (You can also add peanut butter:))
• Seeds (I used Hemp Hearts)
• Citrus Fruits
• Legumes (you can use cocoa powder!)
The amount of each item is pretty self explanatory, just make sure that you have a fairly balanced collection of superfoods. This is the approximate ratio I used in the order that the ingredients are listed above 5:1:1:3:1.
Step 2: Mix It All Together
Put all the ingredients you just gathered into the blender and add a 100g single serving cup of yogurt in (you can use any flavour you like). Blend on low to start and then on high until the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture into a glass and serve. Hope you enjoy the Extreme Superfood Fruit Smoothie! Happy eating!
