Step 3 Mark and cut

Using a disappearing-ink pen or light pencil, mark the corners of the letters on the fabric (where the arrows pointing). I just pierced through the pattern with my pen to make a small dot. This will make it easier to fold and iron later.

Cut out the fabric along the edges of the pattern piece, and make slits along the dotted pattern lines. Unpin the pattern piece from the fabric.
