Introduction: FPV Goggles With Local to Remote View Switch, With Local Infrared Camera

If you don't want to take off the FPV mask when you take off and landing with yout RC model, then use this home made mask that has a switch to change back and forth from the FPV view to your eyes view. This is all home made and has an infrared front camera you can switch to normal light or IR.

This is fully home built using a cell phone 3D viewing support (mask), with a Tx receiver, some switches and cables.

Have a safe flight !

Would you happen to have a list of materials that you used and some instructions?

Hi,

sorry for the late reply. I used all stuff from bangood. These items in particular:

http://www.banggood.com/5-Inch-Car-Stand-Security-...

http://www.banggood.com/ColorCross-Virtual-Reality...

The display was disassembled by me before mounting it. Put a Fresnel lens between the display and your eyes, trying the distances by testing different spaces.

For the video tx/rx I used these items still from bangood:

http://www.banggood.com/FPV-5_8G-8CH-200mW-AV-Wire...

http://www.banggood.com/Fatshark-ImmersionRC-Spiro...

The video tx is from HobbyKing:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__63114__...

(please that the connector is a RP-SMA type).

I used some neoprene tape for covering the external side if the glasses and some thin Plexiglas for the internal structure, with nylon spacers used in electronics.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any question. I will try to assist.
