Fabric Bondage Cuffs

Fabric Bondage Cuffs
Nothing says you trust someone like letting them tie you up.
I've experimented with a few different designs, and these cuffs seem to be the best blend of style, strength, and practicality. They're easy to put on and take off quickly (unless you happen to be the one wearing them) and on top of that they're comfy to wear and will stand up to serious struggling.
Some basic sewing experience is useful here, but there is plenty of wiggle room in the measurements and messy seams are easy to cover up.

Step 1You will need...

You will need...
I got most of my supplies at an army surplus store, but then again I have more fabric just floating around my house than most people I know. I would say that a trip to the fabric and hardware stores will get you everything you need. The measurements provided are relatively rough, but worked out for me. You can adjust them to fit.

Supplies:
-Pretty fabric: (Two pieces, about 8"x6" each) I prefer velvet, but anything pretty that's soft against your skin will work.
-Structural fabric: (same dimensions as the pretty fabric) Linen or denim or canvas, something to give your cuffs a sturdy base
-1" Nylon Webbing: (two pieces, about 12" long each)
-1" sewable velcro strips (two pieces each of 'hook' and 'loop' sides, about 4" long)
-Two 1" D-rings (not shown)
-One double-ended clip (not shown)

Tools:
-Sewing machine (not strictly required, but it makes this project ten times easier)
-Thread to match your fabric
-A measuring tape
-Pins
-Scissors
-A lighter (to seal the ends of the nylon webbing)

And thank you very much Smexy!

Seriously: when everybody thinks in hearts, flowers and chocolates in Valentine's, you think in bondage. WOW!! You have all my respect and admiration!!!!

a cheap hit for those who want real leather cuffs(if you need something stronger then fabric... though it also softer so no worries) local taxidermists usually sell cheap leather "shammies"  or rabbit pelts if you want to have a fur lining for around $2 a piece one is enough to make a collar and set of cuffs or course you still need the chain and connectors but what bdsm enthusiast isn't familiar with their local hardware store.

I made a pair of these from an old laptop bag strap.

Can you undo the metal latch thing when wearing them?it looks like they're far enough from the cuff...

Hm.  I rather like these.  I might have to mod these so they lock shut, though. : )  5 stars!

As long as you don't lose your key, locks do open relatively quickly.  ...Just don't lose the key.  ;)

Entry in multiple contests are sometimes allowed.  Besides, this qualifies for keeping things warm hot. Not that I know though.

For people with weak sewing skills, super glue holds that tubular tape together really really well, I used it to make a belt and it's badass.

I like taking things apart then putting them back together, only better.
