Introduction: NOT a Facebook Hack

This instructable shows you how to edit a Facebook page. Note that it does not change it on Facebook rather it creates an html file that you can show to friends, family e.t.c on your computer.

Step 1: Get the Page

Go to the Face book page you want to edit and press, Page, Save as or Ctrl+s in your web browser. Be sure to save it as a complete webpage.

Step 2: Open the Webpage.

Once it has finished downloading, open the folder were it was saved to, right click on the HTML file and click open with, notepad.

Step 3: Editing a Page

Open the actual page and find the thing that you want to edit.

Say I wanted to edit "I like chicken" to "I don't like chicken" and change the comment from "I do also" to "I hate chicken". We will also change the name from Instructable guy to yo mama and the time to I don't know O'clock

First, go into notepad and press Ctrl+f to open the find menu. Type in what you want to edit to find it in the HTML code and change it to what you want it to say.

If you look to the left of the code for whatever you edited you should see something that says wotsearchprocessed and just to the right of that the name of whoever posted the thing. You can change this to something like Yo Mama. However I don't know how to change the profile picture of this person. Perhaps someone could post it as a comment if they know.

If you look  to the right of the thing your editing you should see written "10 minutes ago" or something along the lines of that. You can type in whatever you want here also.

This should work for both posts and comments.

The only problem with this method is that sometimes it may stuff up the chat box.
