Text file for the script is attached.

This is a completely harmless prank

1. Save the file on your computer

2. Open up the text file

3. Click File>Save As>save the file as "virus.bat" (a batch file)

Step 1:

Can somebody assure that this is harmless

It is indeed harmless, all it does is tells you to hit a button a couple times runs a tree command which shows everything on your computer to make you think it's going through things when it's just showing you it's there (fun for messing with people) then opens Rick Astley - Never gonna give you up. for proof in the text file at the end it says tree and later says start https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ which if you check is the link for Rick Astley - Never gonna give you up. I was kinda worried at first as well till I went through the code of it

As far as I know it only opens a command prompt then uses a tree command which shows all directories, at the end it opens a youtube url. seems harmless to me.

its fine the only commands in it are :

echo

timeout

pause

tree

start youtube

cls

title

mode -harmless

cd -harmless

time

date

and color.
