Ingredients: (about six servings)
2 1/2 cups - old fashioned oats.
1 1/2 cups - water
2 - eggs
Just enough oil to fry the meatless steaks.
Pinch of each of your favorite spices.
Optional: minced mushrooms and or other vegetables.
Mince the onion and or any other solid vegetables..
Add all the ingredients and mix thoroughly.
If possible let the mixture sit in the fridge to firm up while the pan is heating up.
Dole out large spoon portions in to the pan, but do not crowd them.
Pan fry till golden brown.
Remove and let cool till ready for a container.
Put in a sealed container.
Let refrigerate and then reheat as needed.
