Felted Wool Bookmark

This year I have been trying to make embellishments for gift packages without the use of wrapping paper and bows.  Instead I am making my own so people can use them.  Here are a couple of felted  book markers that I made for my packages.  They were quick, easy, and simple.  I used some old sweaters that I felted for one of the book markers.  For the other one I used left over felt from a craft project.  Book markers are a great way to use up small pieces you have around.  

Step 1 Supplies

3X 7 Approx Felt or felted wool scraps
Crochet thread
Sparkly stickers or buttons
Craft glue of some sort
Scissors
Pinking scissors
Hole punch
Ruler
Marker

Please note: Instead of using the inner-tube use felt of felted wool.  I did not get a picture of the felt.

Thanks Susan! I wished I had of had some blue crochet thread for the blue one. It would have really been pretty. I enjoy working with wool. It is a comforting fabric.
