Introduction: Fidget Spinner

Fidget spinner is a type of stress relieving toy. A basic fidget spinner consists of a bearing in the centre of a design made from any of a variety of materials including brass, stainless steel, titanium, copper, and plastic.

This is the easiest way of making the Fidget spinner at home and the material is quite basic that can be found at an electrical shop and at a sports shop.

the reason why fidget spinner spin for long is physics.

Ball bearings are key to this spinning toy. To understand why to try this: Slide a block of wood or other material across the floor. Then do the same with a marble. "I bet the marble goes farther," Doherty said. That's because friction associated with rolling motion is typically less than so-called sliding friction.
This same principle can be applied to the spinners. At the centre, and on each of the three "wings" of the spinner, is a bearing race, which is a circular channel around which tiny balls roll with low friction, Doherty said.

And when it comes to spinning, shape matters. "If you put the ball bearing at the centre of a disk, you must start the spin by pushing on the outer part," Doherty said, referring to the fact that the object's centre of mass would be at the centre. (The centre of mass is the point at which you can balance an object, like the pivot point of a seesaw.)
"However, if the object has protrusions so the ball bearing is not at the centre of mass, you can start it spinning with a flick of your wrist," he added. The ball bearings on the outer parts of the spinner are mainly there for weight.

Step 1: Step 1: Gathering the Material

the material is very simple

All you need is:

1) 4 Bearing that can either be bought from the shop or taken out of an old machine.

In my case, i took out these bearing from my old skates, you can also take them out of your skate board.

You need only 1 bearing to work properly.

2) A scissor

3) 9 zip ties (which can be found at an electrical shop)

Step 2: Step 2: Making the Basic Structure

Take 3 zip ties

Now take one's end and put it in other's starting.

Make sure you do not pull much of it.

Now repeat it with the other ties and form a triangle like in the picture.

the gap between the two starting point(two corners of the triangle) should not be less than 8 cm.

Step 3: Step 3: Attacting the Weights

Now you need to take 3 bearings (not working in my case) and attach them to the corners of the triangle.

Take a zip tie, pass it through the bearing and the triangle and pull it as much as you can to tighten it to the corner.

Repeat it with the other two ends.

Now cut off the extra ties that you used to tie the bearing

Step 4: Step 4: Completing the Spinner

Now make a loop with the zip tie and insert it from the one side of the triangle as shown in the first three picture.

Now repeat that step with every corner.

now take the working bearing and put it in the centre of the spinner.

You can also take out the upper layer and use lubricant to make it spin faster.

Now fasten or tighten every tie you can see to make the structure rigid and hard.

Step 5: Have Fun

Your fidget spinner is ready. You can also customize it by painting it.

That looks great! Much better than my crafty one. Yours looks like a real one! Soon I'll post a picture of mine (from your instructable).

Remember to clean the spinning bearing :) grease and oil makes them spin worse
