First you must obtain 3-5 pallets. These can be found outside hardware stores, industrial areas, and even grocery stores. You must also purchase two hinges for around 5 to 10 dollars

Step 1: Disassembling the Pallets

Next you must take apart the pallets. Each one takes around 30-45 minutes to disassemble. The most important tool for disassemble is a claw hammer but others can be used. Be careful of weak wood because some can break easily. Make a pile of wood once you have taken them apart.

Step 2: Building the Sides, Back, Front, and Top

To build the sides, back, front, and top line up around 10 pieces of wood (depending upon how large you want it) next to each other. Then, take two pieces and put them perpendicularly on top of the pieces you have lined up. They should be a couple of inches from the edge on either side. Next, put a nail through these going into each piece of wood. Complete this five times.

Step 3: Putting It All Together

Now you must nail all these large pieces together. Make sure the side with the wood running perpendicularly is on the inside not outside. Nail the edges of the wood to the edges of the other piece. For the front attach the hinges to the bottom and top of one side. Then nail them to the front. The front should be able to swing open and shut. Congrats! You are done. You can also paint it if you wish.
