Step 1Accessing the rear of the dash

Accessing the rear of the dash
To make the fitting much easier it helps if you can increase the access to the rear of the dash. To do this you need to remove the glove box bin.

Pull the highlighted stop peg to the left so that it free to pass the dash surround and allow the bin to open past the stop. Do the same on the left hand side of the bin.

The bin should now just lift out. Put it to one side out of the way.

i've followed these instructions implicitly with 2 clocks (both were working in the donor cars), but they don't work in the Bongo. Where am I going wrong? I could forget it and rely on my wrist watch, but I'm not one to give up!

Nice mod, I prefer an analog clock to digital-were were not wired to need to know time to the second...my old Benz has one already, but If I need one ever, this is a good mod to use. Good job.
