Replacing bObi's screen is a quick fix. Follow this guide for opening bObi, and removing the screen with a Phillips head screwdriver.

Step 1: Remove BObi's Front Wheel

Remove bObi’s front wheel to access one of the screws holding bObi together.

Behind the wheel are two screws. There is a larger screw set deeper in the wheel compartment. Use the screwdriver to remove it. (Highlighted Blue)

Keep this screw, and all other screws removed from bObi, for later reassembly.

Then remove bObi's dustbin.

Step 2: Remove the Main Brush Attachment

For the next step, remove the screws on both sides of bObi’s dustbin. Then, remove the corner pieces that were held down by the screws. (Highlighted Green)

Pull the main brushes down to expose 2 smaller screws on a red fastener. Remove both screws and lift the brush compartment out. (Highlighted Yellow)

Lift the brush compartment up until it is freed from the red fastener. Then, detach the brush compartment and set it aside.

Step 3: Open BObi's Cover

Lift the brush holder. To detach completely, unplug it from bObi. (Highlighted Pink)

Remove the 4 screws located beneath the main brush compartment. (Highlighted Blue)

Next, remove the 2 screws on the dustbin’s red fastener.

bObi’s cover is no longer secured, so carefully flip bObi onto her wheels.

When all are removed, lift bObi's cover up to expose her main circuit board.

Detach the two circuit plugs connecting bObi's cover to the main board and the lid will be separated. (Highlighted Pink)

Step 4: Replace the Screen

Remove the four screws that secure bObi's screen. (Highlighted Pink)

Lift the whole piece out.

Put the replacement screen in the open space and install all four screws.

Step 5: Connect the Cover Circuit Plugs

Attach the circuit plugs from bObi's cover back on her main board.

The white-wired plug on bObi's lid connects to the middle of the main board. (Highlighted Red)

The yellow-wired plug connects to the right side of the main board, close to bObi's right wheel. (Highlighted Pink)

Lay down bObi's cover and line up the edges precisely. Then, re-install the front wheel's screw. (Highlighted Blue)

Lay down bObi's cover and line up the edges precisely. While holding bObi’s top and bottom together, carefully flip bObi over onto a flat surface.

Place the wheel back in its compartment and push down to secure it on bObi.

Step 6: Start Closing the Cover

Replace the dustbin's fastener and install its two screws. (Highlighted Yellow)

Install the four screws that were found under the main brush compartment. (Highlighted Green)

Step 7: Attach the Main Brushes

Plug the brush attachment in. (Highlighted Yellow)

Then, replace its red brush fastener on the screw posts inside bObi and install the 2 screws. (Highlighted Green)

Position the brush compartment back in its original place.

Step 8: Replace the Dustbin

Replace the corner pieces close to the dustbin. (Highlighted Pink)

These corner pieces must line up correctly with the brush attachment and hold it in place. Then, install the 2 screws securing them on bObi. (Highlighted Red)

Now reinsert the corner pieces on both sides of the dustbin, with the arms of the brush attachment linked. Make sure the rubber strip is not stuck under the brush compartment before you reinstall the 2 screws in each of the corner pieces.

Ensure the dustbin can slide in easily before using bObi again.
