Does someone know how to fix azipper when the teeth disengage????

harley_rly (author)2010-03-21

i have a similar setup on my current coat(by similar i mean the exact same thing minus the tape), its funny people at school will be like like "nice zipper" so i just reply "yep, im just hardcore like that"

I had the same solution to a coat with a busted zipper. My wife did not like the way it looked. She used a piece of a shoestring. It works well a looks better.

Note: If you cannot loop the shoestring through the zipper. Use the paper clip as a base and braid the shoestring around the paper clip.

I tried this, but had better success using a spare keyring circle. In fact, I actually like the replaced zipper better now than the original =)

I've used the spare keyring circle too! It works well, is amazingly durable, and far easier to grip with gloves.

I find the small keyring methods works well too.
