Easy to make and requires only one bought item - everything else can be found around your house.
The "lens" does no damage to the camera or lens. I designed this with that thought in mind as I loathe scratches or dings on my gadgets.

I found most of these items around my house. The only item I had to buy was the security door viewer which I bought for $10 at Home Depot.

also do-able on the Flip Ultra, and this is useable on other camera's aswell.
you should add something to the inside of the canister, to make it snug with the "peep hole" and the can.
you are using a 200degree viewer, to make a wide angle lens, you can use a 160 degree one.
Home depot has the 200 degree, fisheye for 10-15 $ depending on wha material and color
Lowe's has them for 4 dollars for the fisheye and any color/material.
for the 160 degree, 3 dollars for the wide @ lowes
and 5 for the wide @ Homedepot.
That's the research I did today.
I have a homedepot and Lowe's in the same parking lot as each other, so I do alot of comparison.
