Flower Pot Costume

Flower Pot Costume
My daughter went dressed as a pot of flowers.

We started with a large plastic flower pot and cut the bottom out. I then use a wire wreath form and duct taped it to the top rim of the flower pot. The wire form provided stability for the suspenders and silk flowers.

I duct taped all sorts of flowers around the pot, making sure they were lower in front so she could see. I then made suspenders out of duct tape and hot glued some flowers to the suspenders. She wore green leggings to tie in with the green pot and a pink sweatshirt to tie in with the pink and purple flowers.

We made a headband by hot glueing flowers to a plain band. Same with gloves -- took plain cotton gloves and glued flowers on.
