If you were lucky enough to find a fuse box with a window in it, then you can skip this step. It is the hardest step, so I will put it first. That way if you give up (!) you will have been saved some work. :)

You will need a piece of plexiglass about 9x7 inches and about 4 feet of rubber window molding. Don't peel the scratch-resistant film off the plexiglass until you are all done cutting it to fit. If the sheet you have is the right size, all you need to do is round off the corners and trace the plexiglass onto the fusebox cover. You need a gap of about 2-3/16 of an inch between the edges of the the plexi and the metal frame to fit the molding tube. If the gap is too big, don't worry, the lip of the molding will cover it up. This is where the jigsaw comes in handy, the metal is pretty freaking thick. I went through a lot of dremel cutting wheels finding that out.

The easiest way to mount the window is to wrap the molding around the plexiglass, cut it to fit (err on the side of too long), slide one end into the frame, and then work your way around. The corners are tough, but keep at it. If you can't get it to fit, you might have to widen the gap.

After that you're golden. Just poke the locking strip in with a screwdriver!

There's a much easier way to install the rubber window grommetting material:
Install it the same way we used to install the old rubber-mounted windshields. :)

Wrap the rubber around the window panel. Find a length of smooth-coated wire that will more than wrap around the edge.

Place the window and gasket next to the panel. Start with one corner (your wires should cross each other at this point) and gently tug the wire, pulling "in" through the hole you want the window mounted in.

Continue to pull the wire gently through the window hole. It will pull the flange of the gasket material through the hole. When you have peeled all the wire from around the window, the window will have "installed itself." Enjoy.
