Hammered this out from 3/4 inch round steel. I don't know the quality. The handle is some tropical wood. brass rod pins. epoxied together. this was my first hammer out forged knife. It has a good feel and weight. i hammered the bevel on one side.
I can judge a knifes quality some what. If you put the metal in which was used to make the knife in a vice and tapped it with a hammer and it bends a little and then springs back a little thats good steel bad steel is no bend and breack along with complete bend with light tap.
