Hi Brennn10, S wire means Shield and come from Ground, Common or Negative wire from audio source to negative headphone speakers. In mostly source of audio like tapes, mp3 players, Radios, Tv, etc. this wire is the ground or negative for Left and Right Headphone speakers.

So, how would I connect it to the jack? Because, most speakers have two leads, so do I just connect one of the speaker leads to the proper jack leads? Thanks for the quick response.

A mean the negative ( - ) lead from you speaker left, and right are the same these two union with the Shield part of jack and these goes the path to plug and source.

ok, are two conectors JACK (female of plug) and PLUG those share the same connection from NEGATIVE speaker ( - Right and - Left) these connect to S jack. Then in the plug continue the connection Through the Shield terminal (when insert are mechanical connection) to the Shield, Ground, Negative or Common mp3 player, tape, discman, etc. Follow the connection in the Electrical circuit.
