Step 2GIMP

GIMP
Ok, the first one up, GIMP. GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. In other words, GIMP is a very powerful image editing software. It has many of the features of Photoshop and maybe more! For free! You can install plugins to add even more features. This actually might be overkill though for photo fix-ups. This works cross-platform, which means it will work on your PC, Mac, or your Penguin (Linux).

Some features that GIMP is packaged with is a logo maker, blurs, and a perspective tool.

If you want GIMP to look more like Photoshop check out GIMPshop.

There are many manuals and instructions on the internet. To learn more about GIMP and download it go to GIMP.org.

I use GIMP, but I really want to upgrade to photoshop. GIMP can be quite irritating if you have gotten used to photoshop, as I have.

But for free, you can't beat it!
